New 3M™ Sound Detector SD-200

Introducing the 3M™ Sound Detector SD-200, a compact, lightweight sound level meter that provides advanced integration at an exceptional value. The SD-200 includes key features for the assessment of workplace noise levels, including integration, which computes the average sound pressure level. In addition, the SD-200 has LED indicators that flash green, yellow and/or red when preset thresholds have been reached. The SD-200 offers an intuitive five-button design that makes it easy for users to measure sound levels and to help determine the level of hearing protection that may be required.

Entry-level sound level meter is easy to operate

The SD-200 Sound Detector is lightweight and compact enough to accommodate one-hand operation. An intuitive, five-button interface makes it easy to operate, and the user selectable LED alert screen provides a quick visual reference of sound levels with green, yellow and/or red LED’s that flash when preset noise thresholds are reached. The rechargeable lithium polymer battery helps to lower the total cost of ownership versus other sound level meters that use replaceable batteries.
